🇺🇸 SHERIFF BRYANT “WALLY” JONES ON THE FRONTLINE 🇺🇸 Honoring the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001

Today, Sheriff Bryant “Wally” Jones and a portion of his Leadership Team joined firefighters, law enforcement officers, military personnel, and Pike County citizens in honoring the 25th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks by participating in the annual .911-Mile Run.

The annual run begins at the western end of Delaware Avenue and continues to the Downtown Fire Station, bringing together members of our public safety and military communities, along with citizens, to remember those whose lives were lost and to honor the courage of those who answered the call to serve.

For Sheriff Jones and the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, this run represents more than a mile—it represents REMEMBRANCE, UNITY, SACRIFICE, COURAGE, and SERVICE.

On September 11, 2001, our nation witnessed the ultimate sacrifice of first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away. Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor their memory and the families who were forever changed.

We Remember. We Honor. We Serve. We Will Never Forget. 🇺🇸
