Drug recovery

On January 6, 2026, Pike County Sheriff's Office SRT along with Pike County Sheriff's Office Gang Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of Ricky B. Wells in the City of Magnolia

The search warrant was part of an on-going narcotics investigation and resulted in the seizure of approximately 1,635 grams of suspected Cocaine, 110 grams of suspected Methamphetamine, and approximately 88 dosage units of suspected Suboxone.

A firearm was found in close proximity to the suspected narcotics.

Wells was charged with one count of Aggravated Trafficking in Controlled Substance, one count of Trafficking in Controlled Substances, and one count of Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance.

This is an on-going investigation and all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Pike County Sheriff’s Office K9 Sasha Endorses Breast Cancer Awareness Wrap

In a heartwarming show of solidarity, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office has unveiled a special Breast Cancer Awareness wrap — with none other than K9 Sasha as its proud ambassador. The custom vehicle wrap, adorned with pink accents and the iconic ribbon, serves as a rolling tribute to survivors, fighters, and those lost to breast cancer.

K9 Sasha, known for her dedication to service and community engagement, posed on top of the newly wrapped vehicle, helping raise awareness and promote early detection.

The Sheriff’s Office hopes this initiative will encourage regular screenings and support fundraising efforts throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month and beyond.
